We are looking for an experienced sales professional, ideally with open-source experience, who will be selling into our enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate has experience as an Account Executive selling Full Lifecycle API Management platforms and cloud services. Your technical background will be an essential contributor to your success as you sell to developers or technical architects and IT and Business stakeholders. You will be integral to our growth plan in acquiring new customers. You will be the primary point of contact and the face of Solsys for our prospects.

What do we ask of you

  • Resell Kong Enterprise platform solutions accelerate Kong value and governance, including Solsys API framework patterns. Meet individual quotas measured quarterly. We use Salesforce as CRM and Klient as a PSA.
  • Take ownership of your book of business, which includes understanding and documenting the buying criteria and process, determining the appropriate motion and patterns, ensuring pipeline accuracy based on evidence, and working the leads to closure.
  • Provide account leadership and direction in the pre-and post-sales process and contribute to analysis on wins/losses.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as required (30% – 50%); subject to COVID policies.
  • Be passionate, articulate, and foster our culture of trust and collaboration.
  • Understand the architecture and role of public and private cloud services in all perspectives of API lifecycle management which for us is Kong Technology.
  • Be able to harness the value of Solsys API consultants in delivering services value to our customers.
